Sourcing talent that is open to dying their hair neon colors is not a problem you expect to solve when you wake up in the morning, but the results were electric. To connect the customer to this new line of neon vivid hair color, I led with the insight of hair color having emotional ties with identity, and weaved in the global trending interest in astrology linking to personality traits. We interviewed the talent to reveal personality characteristics that represented specific vivid colors, and built a robust storyline that had legs to spark engagement on an eComm landing page and social video alike.
